Unveiling the Animated Series of Guerreros del Manana! (2025)

Get ready for an exciting journey into the world of animation and nostalgia! The beloved Argentine superhero toy line, 'Guerreros del Manana', is about to take center stage with an upcoming animated series and action figure revival!

New Zealand's Black Mandala has secured the rights to bring this cult classic to life, and it's an exciting prospect for fans and collectors alike. But here's where it gets controversial... this beloved franchise, which launched during the '80s alongside Mattel's 'He-Man', has remained a hidden gem, evolving into a highly sought-after collectible over the decades.

The deal, finalized during Ventana Sur, was signed with the original creator, Guillermo Zanocco, and filmmaker Nicolás Onetti, who will helm the animated series. Black Mandala plans to unveil a teaser and the first collectible sculpture at Argentina Comic-Con on December 5th, a highly anticipated event for fans.

The animation project has assembled a talented crew, including Aníbal Morales as animation director, Luciano Onetti composing the score, and Germán Suracce for sound design. Artist Martín Cardozo will craft the new line of collectible sculptures, ensuring the legacy of 'Guerreros del Manana' continues.

And this is the part most people miss... the voice-over for the teaser will be performed by veteran voice actor Ricardo Alanis, known for his Spanish-language dubbing work on iconic action films and 'Power Rangers'.

Black Mandala, founded by Michael Kraetzer and Onetti in 2017, has established itself as a genre specialist with a focus on independent horror and cinema. Operating from Auckland, they've built an impressive catalog of over 150 titles and maintain a global presence at major film markets.

Their recent slate includes 'Nightfall - A Paranormal Investigation', a debut feature by young Australian filmmakers, 'Beyond the Drumlins', 'The Blade Cuts Deeper', and the horror anthology 'The Last Supper'.

So, are you excited for the animated revival of 'Guerreros del Manana'? Do you think it will live up to the legacy of the original toy line? Share your thoughts and let's discuss!
