During a podcast episode featuring Katie Miller, who is married to Trump’s deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, Kennedy elaborated on this topic. He noted that Trump's preference for junk food isn't just a matter of taste but is also influenced by security concerns and a reliance on well-known brands. "When he’s on the move, he avoids food that could make him ill," Kennedy explained.
Traveling with Trump gives you a vivid impression that he consumes what can only be described as 'poison' throughout the day, leaving one to wonder how he maintains his energy, given that he is one of the most vibrant individuals most people have ever encountered, Kennedy remarked.
When asked about who among them had the quirkiest eating habits, Kennedy quickly pointed to Trump. "What’s fascinating about the president is his affinity for fast food—particularly McDonald's, along with candy and an abundance of Diet Coke," he commented. "He’s almost always seen with a Diet Coke in hand. I genuinely question how he manages to stay alive with such a diet, but somehow, he does."
