"For me, diamonds are not made under pressure," Mason wrote, challenging the conventional wisdom. "I know the drill: train, recover, race, eat, sleep. But the art of performing consistently, especially in big races, remains a mystery," he shared. "It's in those small, unknown factors that I've spent weeks delving into, trying to understand and control."

Despite the disappointments, he reassures his fans that he quickly moves on, understanding that success and setbacks are inherent to the sport. "I'm learning to embrace the puzzles and unknowns between the fun bits. That's what keeps me hungry and motivated to keep showing up and trying," he added.
